My Angel

So I've had a few questions about my daughter, even a suggestion to post some of her pictures up.
I am touched by the curiousity over my Angel of those I am building friendships with here.
But I'm fiercely protective of her, and no matter how proud of her I am, I just can't bring myself to post her pictures online (predators in spiritual clothing comes to mind here)...she just turned 8 on the 4th of February (an Aquarian genius, she is *beaming smile*) and she is too old for me not to consult her wishes but still too young to make a fully informed decision..but take my word, she's beautiful and you can see the Light shining from her intense eyes ;-)
And she is the one thing that I am very guarded and reserved on in talking about...and to explain why would delve into areas I'm just not ready to talk about in such an open forum...soon, I'm sure...but not yet.
So *thank you* for asking and wondering over such a huge aspect of my life that has been so instrumental in shaping me into the woman I am now...and keeps me anchored here when I'd rather float off into other realms ;-)

Right on. Thank you for being so explicit and clear about protecting the jewel of your life. Before I can open to others, I’ve got to know that the space between me and the other is clear.
I am particularly impressed by your suggestion of “predators in spiritual clothing” comment. I know for myself, sharing the heart is not a possibility without the fiercest sword freshly sharpened and firmly by my side.

Yeah, many people mistake a Cappy’s guarded reserve as being cold and unaccessable…those who take the care and time however, find something quite the opposite, no? ;-) Our sun sign is not the totality of who we are, either…mysterious and intriguing creatures the human being can be…
So I got to thinking after I made this post that those I am forging friendships with may have taken my “predators in spiritual clothing” as me viewing them as potential candidates…which I don’t…its those that silently stalk I am concerned with…and the potential for her picture to make it to forums beyond Zaadz…
Ahhh…the sword…I love it! I had a friend over in Tribe point out that almost all the women in the art I had posted were wielding a sword…he asked what it symbolized to me and I immediately responded with “Truth”…
I always find it curious those who tempt me to draw it…wondering what would compel one to choose the sword over less…hmmm, how to put it…less severe and exacting means…*sigh* to each his own, and we all have our individual Paths to take and lessons to learn and teach…but it still boggles my mind at times, for we all have the ability to choice a different course at any given moment…

I concur!! I feel the same way about my daughter, who I am insanely proud of, as well….but it’s just so scary to think of all of the “bad” people out there, and the access into our lives the internet can give them. A double edged sword, the internet.
